My love for fishing started when I was a kid. Me and my mates would head off to random lakes with nothing more than a float rod, a few maggots and plenty of time on our hands. We’d spend hours sitting on the bank, watching the float and waiting for that moment when it finally disappeared beneath the surface.

As I got older, fishing became more than just a hobby — it became an obsession. When I left school and started working, my first paycheque didn’t last long… straight into my set up! From early mornings in the peace and quiet, listening to the birds as I wake up, to those heart-stopping moments when a rod rips off, there’s nowhere else I’d rather be.

Over the years I’ve been lucky enough to catch some incredible fish and experience some amazing sessions. I’ve travelled to France chasing bigger carp, taken on new challenges and constantly pushed myself to learn and improve.

I love trying different methods and experimenting, but one thing that has stayed consistent is DT Baits. They’ve never let me down and have played a huge part in helping me catch bigger and better fish.

3 nights on a lake, and I’m blanking. Packing away in the pouring rain with only the rods left out. My Right hand rod rips off, only to catch a beautiful 47LB common.
