I started fishing with my dad and uncle when I was just five years old. I still remember catching my very first cod from the shore all those years ago. It was only a small fish, but I guess that's the feeling I've been chasing ever since.
I was introduced to carp fishing as we know it today when my family moved to the UK in the late 1980s, and from that moment, the rest is history.
When I moved back to Denmark a few years later, it was difficult to get hold of high-quality bait, so I started rolling my own boilies. I was later introduced to DT Baits by a good friend from the Essex area who had moved to Denmark. At the time, I was working in one of Copenhagen's largest fishing tackle shops, and we began distributing DT Baits throughout Scandinavia, becoming the first tackle shop in mainland Europe to supply premium frozen boilies.
Since then, I've been honoured to become a DT Baits consultant, where I'm involved in product development and extensive bait testing. More recently, many of my own ideas helped shape the highly effective Crustazia recipe.
If you have any questions about bait, carp fishing, or anything else fishing-related, please don't hesitate to get in touch. You can find me on Instagram using the handle below - I'm always happy to help.

Favourite Rig
Simple—the one that's right for the situation.
Bait of Choice
Every bait in the DT Baits range has its own application, but I mainly use Crustazia and Coldwater Green Beast.
Currently Fishing
Big or small lakes, public or commercial—it doesn't matter. If the type of carp I'm looking for swim there, that's where I'll be putting my rig.
Carp Fishing Tip
Keep it simple. There isn't one right way, but there are plenty of wrong ways. And remember: if you keep chasing your luck, eventually you'll catch it.
Recent Fishing Trip Highlight
A four-week session on a French reservoir where it took me three weeks to catch my first carp—but it was absolutely mahoosive. Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good.
Countries Fished
Denmark, United Kingdom, Sweden, Germany, France, Poland and Norway.
