I picked up my first rod 44 years ago, aged 5.

When I was 11 I hooked and landed my first carp, a small mirror of around 5lb and have been a carp angler ever since. 

I fish mainly in the north west and love the scene there. 

My PB is a 38.6 mirror from a northwest water. 

With a busy job and young family getting on the bank can be tricky but a very supportive wife means I can usually get out a couple of times a month.

I did a quick night on a tricky lake and had my PB. Next day went on a social to another lake on the complex and had the biggest fish in that lake.
