I didn’t grow up with a rod in my hand, that honour belongs to my husband, who’s been fishing since he was 7. Earlier this year, after I went through a family loss, he handed me a rod and said, “try this”.

What started as a gentle nudge turned into something unexpected, peace, clarity, and the kind of quiet you only find by the water.

Now, I’m here - a complete novice, armed with more enthusiasm than skill, trying to tell the difference between a carp and a catfish before it bites. When I’m not untangling lines or Googling “how to cast into the water and not the surrounding foliage” you’ll find me staring at the stars, overthinking the universe, and quietly believing that fishing, space, and spirituality are all just different ways of asking: What’s out there?

I’m genuinely excited to join DT Baits team, learn from the team’s expertise, and maybe catch something bigger than my own expectations.
