I've been around all sorts of angling all my life, with my dad taking me fishing for silvers and the occasional carp lake, I always had it in the back of my mind. 

In late 2023 , my dad took me sea fishing and that was when I got the bug. I fished rivers, canals and lakes for various different species but catching carp was a different sort of buzz. So from then on I went full on into the carp scene and that brings me to today.

After fishing syndicates around my area and catching my share of upper doubles and 20s, I’ve set my sights on a fish of 30lb or above by the new year. This means travelling further south to lakes with bigger carp to hopefully break that mark.
